Our Impact

Love for Our Elders is a direct service nonprofit based in Cleveland, Ohio. We address the global loneliness epidemic, one letter at a time.

Letters of Love

Through the power of handwritten notes, volunteers spread kindness and encouragement to isolated elders, offering them meaningful emotional support and building a bridge of connection across generations.

Grandma’s Letter Exchange

A picture book with lessons and workshops aimed at children ages 3-7 that introduces snail mail and teaches how to make and send a letter.

Letter to an Elder Day

An annual day (Feb. 26) dedicated to writing letters to older adults amid the post-holiday gloom that raises awareness of the loneliness epidemic while encouraging intergenerational connection.

Campus Chapters

We empower students to make a meaningful impact by forming local chapters, where they write letters to older adults and volunteer in local senior communities.
